some arithmetic to some numbers.

using Windows 8, and sure enough,
there's the calculator, as it always is,
though I must admit I seldom use it.
But it's nice to have
especially on occasions like this.

You say, I should 'get to the point' already.
Fine – have it your impatient way.
So, okay, let's do some
of those 'simple' mathematics calculations
that I mentioned earlier, aw'right my friend?
Start with the nice big round number of $1,000,000.
since it is well known (joke here),
according to scientists and non-techies like myself,
that there are 365 (rounded off) days in a year.
Divide that $1,000,000 by 365 and what do you get?
You get $2740 (rounded up) which is what
someone needs to make each day in order
to have income of a $million in one year.
Still following me? Good.
Therefore, if it were possible to receive payments
or commissions on an average of 2740 dollars a day,
then a person could easily acquire a million dollars
in a year and become a millionaire.
There – I told you if was really simple.
Just find a way to get around $3,000 a day
for 365 days and you will become a millionaire in 2013.
No problem, right?
